Main Components of CNC Fixtures
A high-performance CNC fixture is not a single part, but a system engineering made up of multiple functional modules working together precisely. DSR can also efficiently manufacture these functional modules for you, ensuring that your fixtures operate stably and reliably.

The fixture base plate is the fundamental structure of the entire CNC fixture system, and it can be used to support and mount other fixture components. Our fixture base plates ensure the overall rigidity and stability of the fixture.

Locating components are used to determine the precise position of a workpiece within a fixture. Locating accuracy directly determines the consistency and repeatability of machined dimensions. We can machine locating components such as locating pins, stop blocks, cylindrical pins, and more.

Our clamping components can securely press workpieces against the positioning surface and support surface. They can effectively prevent workpieces from shifting, lifting, vibrating, or moving out during machining.Common clamping components include clamp plates, side clamps, toggle clamps, and so on.

Our support components can be used to support workpieces, especially in positions where workpieces are suspended, have thin walls, large areas, or uneven force distribution. These components can prevent deformation, sinking, or vibration during machining.

Fasteners and connectors are used to assemble the various components of a fixture. Our components can help you securely mount the entire fixture to the worktable, pallet, or turntable of a CNC machine. We custom-manufacture components such as bolts, washers, and connecting plates for you.

Extended functional modules integrated according to specific processing requirements to enhance the intelligence and automation level of fixtures. We can also customize and process such functional components according to your needs, including hydraulic/pneumatic integrated blocks, coolant guide grooves, etc.

Fixture Tolerance Control & Inspection

In custom CNC fixture machining, tolerance control and inspection verification directly determine the positioning accuracy, repeated clamping stability and final quality of the fixture. Therefore, we pay great attention to the tolerance control and inspection of CNC fixtures.
During machining, we develop appropriate machining and assembly tolerance plans based on the fixture’s structure and material properties. This is to avoid increased costs caused by over-machining, and also to prevent excessive tolerances from affecting the accuracy of the fixture.
Part quality has always been a key focus for us.Every set of fixtures undergoes necessary dimensional inspection during machining or assembly processes to ensure that key functional areas meet design requirements. Our quality inspection specialists also use various inspection tools to verify the functionality of these fixtures and can provide inspection records or inspection reports according to customer requirements.
In addition, for mass-produced fixtures, their repeatability positioning accuracy is also a very important inspection item. We conduct multiple clamping tests to confirm whether the workpiece position in the fixture is stable and consistent.

Specialized tools used in manufacturing processes for positioning, fixing, supporting or guiding workpieces.
Accurate positioning, stable clamping, sufficient support, convenient operation, safe and reliable, and easy to manufacture and maintain.
The most important part of a fixture is its positioning mechanism.
CNC fixtures refer to tooling and clamping devices used on CNC machining centers, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other equipment. Their main function is to accurately position, stably clamp and reliably support workpieces during the machining process, ensuring that workpieces do not move or deform when tools are machining according to the program.
Jigs are typically used not only to secure workpieces but also to guide the movement of cutting tools or other tools. Fixtures, on the other hand, are primarily used to position, support, and clamp workpieces.
Common materials used for CNC fixtures include steel, aluminum alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, tool steel, engineering plastics, and composite materials.
The cost of CNC fixtures does not have a fixed standard. The cost usually depends on factors such as the complexity of your fixtures, materials, size, precision requirements, processing procedures, surface treatment, clamping method, and production quantity.
Fixtures for CNC machine tools refer to devices mounted on the machine tool table that are used to position, support, and clamp workpieces.
You first use 3 positioning points to support the main datum plane of the workpiece to restrict movement in three directions. Next, you use two locating points to position the second reference surface, restricting movement in the other two directions. Finally, you use one locating point to position the third reference surface, restricting movement in the remaining direction.
The purpose of this approach is to avoid over-constraint or unstable positioning of the workpiece.
